It's Me!

Hi! I'm Renee Harleston

​

I live in Brooklyn by way of Florida and Virginia and when I'm not reading or working on my YA Contemporary Southern Gothic I can be found eating, critiquing time travel movie plots.

​

I received my M.A. in Cultural Anthropology at Hunter College and I  work in social justice and history education.

​

I love history, candy, hilarious gifs, imperfect women, and magic.

 

I've been published in As Us Journal. And in middle school I won 3rd place in a poetry contest at the county fair.
